US and NATO intensify activities in Ukraine and neighbouring countries

London/Washington/Bratislava: – The United States, the United Kingdom and other NATO member countries have increased their military deployments in Ukraine and its neighbouring countries. The United Kingdom has announced that the Ukrainian military will be equipped with advanced weaponry. Whereas, Slovakia has dispatched a Russia-made S-300 air defence system to Ukraine under instructions from the United States. The United States is deploying a Patriot air defence system in Slovakia in exchange. Therefore, the sun seems to be set on the possibility of ending the Ukraine war.

Moreover, Ukraine, the United States, NATO and the European countries are holding Russia responsible for the massacre in Bucha and the missile attack on Kramatorsk, which happened a few hours ago. Russia has accused Ukraine itself has carried out the missile strike on Kramatorsk and is falsely blaming Russia for it. Russia has also dismissed the allegations regarding the Bucha massacre. But the western countries are threatening to charge Russia with war crimes and are equipping Ukraine with advanced weapons. The deployments in the countries nearby Ukraine also are being increased.

British Foreign Minister Liz Truss announced in the NATO meeting that advanced and effective weaponry is being despatched to Ukraine. By saying that the Ukrainian weapons are from the Soviet era, the British Foreign Minister said weapons are being despatched for Ukraine. It is not clarified which United Kingdom will supply weapons to Ukraine. But the United Kingdom had announced a special financial aid for the Ukrainian military in the war. At the same time, it also provided medical assistance.

Following this announcement by the United Kingdom in the NATO meeting, US President Joe Biden announced the deployment of the US-made Patriot air defence system in Slovakia. The Biden administration has suggested that Slovakia deploy its Russian made S-300 air defence system in Ukraine. Accordingly, Slovakia has despatched the S-300 system to Ukraine.

Slovakian Prime Minister Eduard Heger said that although Slovakia has despatched the S-300 to Ukraine and will be receiving a Patriot air defence system from the United States, Slovakia will not participate in the Russia-Ukraine war. In contrast, it is claimed that the United States is preparing to send Javelin and Stinger missiles to Ukraine. Meanwhile, the war in Ukraine will intensify and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has instructed the Ukrainian citizens to flee from eastern Ukraine.
