Moscow/Kyiv: – Russia has launched missile attacks from submarines during the ongoing military campaign in Ukraine. The Russian defence department informed that important locations in Ukraine were targeted, launching Calibre missiles from submarines in the Black Sea. This is the first instance of Russia using submarines in the Ukraine war. Russia claimed to have killed 120 Ukrainian soldiers in the attacks carried out in Ukraine.

A few days ago, it was revealed that the Russian warship Moskva had sunk in the Black Sea. It was being said that the moral of the Russian defence forces had dipped after the incident. But the attack launched from the submarine indicates that the Russian navy is fully operational. Analysts are saying that this attack shows that Russian defence forces are using all their capacities to carry out attacks in Ukraine. A few days ago, Russia had showered missiles even in Ukrainian capital Kyiv.
