Rome : “Constant terrorist attacks in Europe and killing of innocents in these attacks indicates that world is fighting a war”, said Pope Francis. He expressed this view before participating in world youth day in Poland. At this time he especially mentioned about the attack on Normandy and killing of a Catholic priest.

Pope Francis said “The word ‘war’ that is being repeated often is insecurity but the real word is war. Let us recognize it. The world is in a state of war in bits and pieces. Considering terrorist war, it is not organic but it is organized and it is a war. We must not be afraid to speak the truth. The world is at war because it has lost peace.”

Clarifying his role about the war he revealed that it is not a war of religion. There is a war of interests, for money, for natural resources. There is a war for domination on people. All religions want peace. The others want war.”

Pope Francis also mentioned about the earlier two world wars. Prior to this Pope Francis had indicated that the third world war already begun.
