US stationing troops in Taiwan is an act of declaring war on China

Beijing: Emboldened by the US military withdrawal from Afghanistan, China has begun threatening the United States and Taiwan. In such a scenario, a US senator has claimed that 30,000 US troops were stationed in Taiwan on social media. The Chinese Communist mouthpiece has taken serious cognisance of the issue. ‘If the US senator’s claim is true, it becomes a declaration of war, and China should eliminate US troops and annex Taiwan by using military force’, the Chinese government mouthpiece advised the Communist regime.

an act of declaring warSenator John Cornyn, a senior member of the US Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, made a crucial claim on social media three days ago. Speaking about the deployment of US troops in Afghanistan, Cornyn also informed on the deployment of US troops in major countries around the world. Cornyn said US troops were stationed in South Korea, Japan, Germany, African countries, and Taiwan. The number of American soldiers in Taiwan was close to 30,000, Cornyn claimed. Senator Cornyn appears to have warned China by releasing the information after China threatened to conquer Taiwan following the US withdrawal from Afghanistan.

The Chinese government mouthpiece, the Global Times, took cognisance of the issue and has directly threatened the United States. Senator Cornyn is a responsible member of the US Senate Committee and a former senior leader of the Congress from the Republican Party. Therefore, the Global Times claimed that there is a strong possibility that the information published on social media is based on facts. If there truly are 30,000 US troops in Taiwan or even fewer than that, this is an act of declaring war on China, the Global Times asserted. To teach the United States a lesson, China should immediately put the Anti-Secession Law into use, destroy and expel US troops in Taiwan by military means, and at the same time realise reunification by force, the CCP mouthpiece said.

an act of declaring warAt the same time, the Global Times also accused the United States of violating the ‘One China Policy’ by deploying such a large number of troops in Taiwan. Chinese analysts have also warned that the information released by US Senator Cornyn is shocking and could lead to an all-out war between the United States and China. The United States has not responded to China’s threat. Also, Senator Cornyn removed the information from social media a few hours ago. However, noting that an experienced leader like Senator Cornyn is not likely to make such a mistake, the US and Western analysts say the information was revealed to warn China.

Meanwhile, China is relieved by the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan. The Chinese media is threatening that the US will leave Taiwan in the near future, just as it has abandoned Afghanistan. In response, Taiwan’s Premier Su Tseng-chang warned China. Premier Su Tseng-chang told China that Taiwan would not collapse like Afghanistan if their country were attacked in the near future.
