Moscow: By announcing that the outcome of Ukraine counteroffensive is clear, Russian President Vladimir Putin has mocked Western countries, including Ukraine. Western countries provided Ukraine with a huge amount of weapons and military equipment. Along with private soldiers, military advisers are working for Ukraine as well. Despite this, Ukraine could not hold off the Russian army, and Ukraine had to lose thousands of its soldiers. President Putin has appealed to the people of Ukraine to think about why they have to sacrifice themselves for the interests of some people.

President Putin cited that Westerners had supplied Ukraine with many weapons and defence equipment for this military operation.

Meanwhile, some strategic analysts are drawing attention to the heavy Russian losses in the Ukraine conflict, despite admitting that the Ukrainian counteroffensive did not succeed. This counteroffensive will certainly cause harm to Russia. According to these analysts, the impact of US sanctions on the Russian economy will also emerge after some time.
