US, EU countries take aggressive tactics against Russia

United Nations – The US and NATO have set out a spate of aggressive decisions to coercively corner Russia economically, diplomatically and strategically, without calling for a direct war against Russia for attacking Ukraine. The European Union (EU) has prepared to grant Ukraine membership. Besides, the US and the UK have warned of pushing Russia out of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). Therefore, the dire effects of the war of Ukraine are surfacing, and it is also clearly seen that this will influence the entire world.

Ukraine’s President has criticised it as Russian terrorism. ‘Nobody will forgive. Nobody will forget,’ said Ukrainian President Zelensky.

Russia has been accused of using vacuum bombs and cluster bombs in Ukraine. But Russia has denied the allegations. The representative of the EU fired a round of accusations against Russia in the UN. Russia’s action against a small country like Ukraine is inhumane. Russia cannot be given the exemption to do so. The EU will do its utmost to help Ukraine with this. The EU has shown its readiness to grant membership to Ukraine. Moreover, the federation will supply assistance on financial and other levels to Ukraine.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced trying to expel Russia from the UN Security Council by declaring aid to Ukraine. Later, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken also said that Russia, which violates human rights, does not have the right to be in the Security Council. The US Secretary of State also targeted China, which has violated the human rights of the Uyghurs.

Earlier, European countries had decided to close their airspace to Russia. Besides, European countries have made decisions that targeted the Russian language and Russian students in the country. Taking a serious note of this, Russia appealed to its citizens in European countries to return home. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov responded forcefully to the allegations against his country.

Those criticising Russia occupying Crimea did not care about Ukrainian atrocities against the Crimean people. Westerners have never paid attention to Ukraine for trampling over human rights in the Donbas region. Lavrov said that this made refugees influx Russia. Hence, Russia intervened militarily here, Lavrov slammed the Western countries. Russia’s Foreign Minister demanded that the US withdraw its nuclear deployment from European countries. Lavrov stated firmly at this time that the action of Russia in Ukraine will not stop unless the objectives are met.
