To fulfil the objective, the Russian Defence Forces have opened an aggressive front in the area from Kharkiv to Odessa. Rockets, missiles and artillery attacks continue in several cities in Donbas. At the same time, Russia has also increased the use of high-precision missiles to target the weapons stocks and significant bases in Ukraine.

Russian Defence Forces informed that Russia targeted 423 Ukrainian military locations in the last 24 hours. These include the logistics terminal in Odessa, four arsenals in Kharkiv, 30 armoured vehicles and 26 command posts. A Russian spokesman said 200 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in the Russian attacks. The Russian military has also launched attacks on areas of a steel factory sheltered by Ukrainian troops in Mariupol.

It is being said that there is a massive conflict between the Russian and Ukrainian forces at Izium near Kharkiv and near the eastern Ukrainian Huliaipole city. Russia has begun preparations to increase the scope of attacks east of Ukraine. For this, new units of Iskander-M missiles have been deployed in the Belgorod region near the Ukraine border. It has been revealed that while the Russian attacks have intensified, the European countries have made a considerable increase in the weapons supply to Ukraine.

Poland informed that it supplied more than $1 billion worth of weapons to Ukraine. A Polish spokesman claimed that the aid was made to maintain Europe’s sovereignty with Poland. The United Kingdom has begun supplying Ukraine with Starstreak Missile System and Stormer armoured vehicles. Besides, France announced that it would send MILAN missiles and CAESAR howitzers to Ukraine. In addition, the Netherlands has announced to provide heavy weaponry to Ukraine.

Meanwhile, while the scope of the Russian campaign grows, Ukraine’s President has warned of walking out of the peace talks. Zelensky has warned that Ukraine will withdraw from peace talks if there is an attack on the Mariupol factory and an attempt to hold a referendum in Kherson.
