Accidents can happen even at nuclear plants in European nations

Moscow: – The safety issue of the nuclear plant in Zaporizhia, Ukraine, which is currently under Russian control, has become sensitive. Russia’s ambassador warned the UN Security Council that a Ukrainian attack could lead to a nuclear disaster. The President of Ukraine has said Russia would be responsible if an accident happened in this nuclear power plant. Reactions are coming from Russia. The former President of Russia threatened that in case of a nuclear accident in Zaporizhia, there also are nuclear power plants in European countries and nuclear accidents can happen there too.

Accidents can happenMoreover, the Ukrainian military is attacking a nuclear power plant in Zaporizhia. Russia claims the project has narrowly survived the previous attacks and avoided a nuclear disaster. Russia has repeatedly warned that if Ukraine attacks this project in the future and causes disaster, Ukraine will be fully responsible. The ambassador of Russia made the Security Council aware of this. The ambassador of Russia said that Russia is constantly presenting this threat to the European countries which are backing Ukraine. However, they are not willing to realize its seriousness. But the President of Ukraine has accused Russia of ‘nuclear blackmailing’.

In such a situation, the former President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, gave a shocking warning to the European countries who are ignoring the safety of this nuclear power plant in Zaporizhia. The Ukrainian military is attacking the nuclear power plant. European countries are completely ignoring Russian warnings in this regard. In the future, in case of a nuclear accident at the Zaporizhia project, Ukraine can say that they did not expect it. Former President Medvedev reprimanded the European countries harshly. He said that European countries have nuclear power plants; hence, nuclear accidents can happen in these plants.

Accidents can happenThe former President of Russia seems to have warned that if the nuclear project in Zaporizhia is going to be made unsafe, then the nuclear projects in European countries will also be made the same. Also, a discussion is rife in Russia that there is a conspiracy of the West to blame it on Russia incase radiation is released from the nuclear power plant in Zaporizhia following an attack. Members of the Russian Parliament have repeatedly pointed this out. In such a situation, former President Medvedev’s warning that there will be nuclear accidents even in European countries also draws attention.

Meanwhile, the United States and European countries have increased the supply of weapons to Ukraine and it is claimed that this has increased the capabilities of the Ukrainian army. The Ukrainian army claimed to have launched deadly attacks on the Russian army, causing heavy losses to Russia. But currently, at the diplomatic level, Russia is seriously warning European countries, including Ukraine and the United States, about the nuclear project in Zaporizhia. The United Nations and the International Atomic Energy Commission are taking these Russian warnings seriously and are expressing concern over the safety of the nuclear power plant in Zaporizhia. However, Russia has rejected the Atomic Energy Commission’s proposal for this project’s inspection.
