New York – In the last two years, since President Donald Trump assumed power, multiple incidences have occurred of the Republican leaders and their supporters being targeted at different levels. The incidents of the explosives being revealed at a time when the Mid-term Elections are just two weeks away could be a conspiracy by the Democrats to gain public sympathy, alleged supporters of President Trump.

In the last 72 hours, nearly eight incidences were reported of pipe bombs and explosives being sent to various cities in the United States, including New York. On Monday afternoon, a suspicious package was delivered to the billionaire investor George Soros’ home in New York. A six-inch long pipe bomb was found in the package.

On Wednesday, suspicious packages were reportedly delivered to the residences of former President Barack Obama, former Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, former Attorney General Eric Holder, former Vice President Joe Biden, former chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee Wasserman Schultz and Congresswoman Maxine Waters. A suspicious package received at the news channel CNN’s New York office was consigned to former CIA chief John Brennan.

As per reports, a suspicious parcel was also received at a restaurant in New York, owned by actor Robert De Niro. The series of suspicious package deliveries has created a sensation. Moreover, the Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo claimed the string of suspicious shipments, to be an act of terrorism.

The Democratic party has tried to target President Trump over the issue of explosives. Former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has alleged that the United States is divided and has appealed to the people of the country to unite against it. At the same time, she said that it is only the Democratic Party that can keep the United States together and hence appealed to the electorate to vote for the Democrats in the upcoming Mid-term elections. Referring to her statements, accusations are rife of the suspicious deliveries being a part of a political conspiracy against President Trump.

President Trump termed the incidents of the explosives to be very unfortunate and assured to track down the perpetrators and the masterminds behind it. President Trump said that violence and also the threats of such violence, would not be tolerated and as a President, security of the United States was his first responsibility.
