Tehran – ‘Instead of allocating 1.5 billion dollars budget for atrocities against Iran, the Zionist regime should focus on providing tens of thousands of billion dollars funding to repair the damage that is going to be caused by Iran’s shocking response,’ says Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran (SNSC), Ali Shamkhani. Last week, Israel had set aside particularly $1.5 billion to attack Iran. Iran has given a fierce reaction thereon.  

Naftali Bennett’s government and the military have been signalling an attack on Iran for the past few days. Last week, Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz announced a $1.5 billion provision for an attack on Iran. There are claims that Israel would purchase fighter jets and drones. Whereas Defense Forces Chief Lt. Gen. Aviv Koshavi ordered the Israeli air force to practice launching airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities. Consequently, Israeli as well as Western media claim that Israel is preparing to launch airstrikes on Iran.  

Chief of Iran’s SNSC, Shamkhani, threatens Israel, which is in preparation for airstrikes. If Israel attacks Iran, it will have to face awful economic consequences, Shamkhani warns through social media. Shamkhani, a former Iranian naval officer, claimed that Iran’s attacks would shake Israel.  

Over the past few days, Iran began nationwide air exercises that include fighter jets, helicopters, unmanned surveillance and attack aircraft. These Iranian air exercises are said to be a threat to Israel. There are claims that over the past few months, a covert war wags between Israel and Iran. Iran accuses Israel of being behind the suspicious explosions at its nuclear facilities. Instead, Israel blames Iran for attacks on its commercial ships from the Red Sea to the Persian Gulf.  

Meanwhile, Iran’s supreme religious leader Ayatollah Khamenei, who has absolute control over Iran’s military and political system, threatened Arab nations cooperating with Israel. ‘Some governments have unfortunately made errors – big errors and have sinned in normalizing [their relations] with the usurping and oppressive Zionist regime. They must return from this path and make up for this big mistake,’ Khamenei said.
