Israel's Mossad tostop Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons

Jerusalem / Vienna – ‘Iran will not have nuclear weapons – not in the coming years, not ever. Our eyes are open, we are prepared, and we will do with our partners in the security establishment everything necessary to alleviate the threat against Israel and thwart it by any means,’ warned David Barnea, Chief of the renowned Israeli intelligence agency Mossad. Saying that Israel will not tolerate a bad nuclear deal between global powers and Iran, Mossad’s Chief targeted the ongoing negotiations between the US and Iran in Vienna.

Since last Monday, negotiations about a nuclear deal have begun in Vienna between the United States, European countries and Iran. The US and European countries should stop these negotiations immediately, demanded Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. PM Bennett had accused Iran of ‘nuclear blackmailing’ the US and European countries through these negotiations. Within a few hours after this warning of Israeli PM, David Barnea, Chief of the Israeli Intelligence Agency Mossad, slammed the US, including Iran. ‘Our nuclear activities are peaceful; we are not seeking to obtain the atomic bomb,’ has claimed Iran. But Barnea clarified in a Mossad event that there was no need for uranium enriched to 60 per cent for civilian purposes. ‘There’s no need for three enrichment sites. There’s no need for thousands of active centrifuges – unless, that is, there is an intention to develop nuclear weapons,’ having said that Barnea accused Iran’s nuclear program to be a militarian.

‘Iran strives for regional hegemony, operates the same terrorists that we’re tackling every day worldwide, and continuously threatens the stability of the Middle East. A bad deal, which I hope will not be made, is intolerable to us,’ Mossad Chief warned. While Chief of Mossad warns regarding Iran, some new information has come up about the Israeli intelligence agency’s action taken at the Iranian Natanz nuclear plant. Across the period of July 2020 to April 2021, Mossad carried out four attacks on Iran’s Natanz nuclear plant. It took 18 months for prearrangements. It was participated by about a thousand agents, spies and related technicians. As per the information given by the Israeli news agency, Mossad had contacted 10 Iranian nuclear scientists to execute the campaign. Neither Mossad nor Israeli officials have confirmed the report. But a suspected explosion at the Natanz nuclear plant is claimed to have set back Iran’s nuclear program for a few months.

US demands Israel not to set up a covert campaign against Iran

Tel Aviv – The United States has demanded; Israel should not set up a covert campaign against Iran’s nuclear program while talks on a nuclear deal continue in Vienna. The Israeli newspaper has quoted that the Biden administration had given a message to the Israeli security system that the United States would oppose any covert Israeli action. Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz and Mossad Chief Barnea will be touring the US next week.

The talks, which have been going on in Vienna for the past five days, have been suspended without any decision. The talks will start anew from Monday, and there is news that the US is not satisfied with the Iranian stance. The Biden administration has said that despite this, the negotiations would continue. Israel and Arab allies are more upset about US’ stance.
