Moscow: Russia has issued another stern warning that if any third party implements a ‘no-fly zone’ over Ukraine, it will be considered a participant in the war of Ukraine. Russia’s President Vladimir Putin further warned that Russia would take action against any country making this announcement, regardless of whether it is a member of any organisation. Ukraine’s President Zelensky had demanded the United States and NATO to impose a ‘no-fly zone. However, his demand was dismissed by US-NATO. Thus, Zelensky fired a salvo of criticism against them. Against that background, the warning issued by the Russian President draws attention.
Moreover, strong attacks are being launched by the Russian air force on major Ukrainian cities. The attack has caused the downfall of cities in Ukraine, and the country is bearing dire consequences. At some point, Ukraine’s military and air force were claiming to have shot down Russian planes and helicopters. But it has not affected Russia’s airstrikes. However, Russia declared a ceasefire in two cities in Ukraine. Still, allegations are made by Ukraine that attacks over here are occurring.
In this scenario, the President of Ukraine Zelensky appealed the United States and NATO to implement a no-fly zone in Ukraine. That being the case, the United States and NATO would have the opportunity to shoot down every airplane flying over Ukraine’s airspace. However, the US and NATO are not ready to declare war with Russia by accepting the demand made by the President of Ukraine. They have rejected the demand, after which the Ukrainian President has criticised the United States and European countries too.
Against this backdrop, Russian President Putin has issued a stern warning that the party declaring a no-fly zone would be considered a participant in the war. President Putin has warned that Russia would take action against any country making this announcement, regardless of whether it was a member of any organisation. This warning from Russia manifests the disposal of the possibility of a no-fly zone. On account of this, it is once again clear that Ukraine is isolated in its war with Russia.
