Europe will disappear from world map if Ukraine is supplied nuclear weapons

Moscow / Kyiv – Russia’s senior leader Vyacheslav Volodin sternly warned that Europe could disappear from the world map if European countries decide to supply nuclear weapons to Ukraine. A few days ago, the former Polish Defence Minister had proposed to give nuclear weapons to Ukraine. This is the aggressive reaction from Russia over it. Russian President Vladimir Putin has already instructed Russia’s nuclear forces to be alert. Information has also surfaced that Russia has conducted two nuclear tests while the Russia-Ukraine conflict is underway.

Russia has gained a significant lead in the Donbas region of Ukraine, and the Ukrainian military has begun to retreat. Against this backdrop, advanced weapons are being demanded on a large scale from Ukraine. While making a statement in this respect, former Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said that Ukraine should be provided with nuclear weapons. The former Polish Minister had made a sensational statement that Ukraine could be given nuclear weapons as Russia has violated agreements with Ukraine and on the international level.

Russia notified a strong reaction to the statement. ‘Sikorski provokes a nuclear conflict in the centre of Europe. He does not think about the future of either Ukraine or Poland. If his proposals are implemented, these countries will disappear, as well as Europe,’ warned Volodymyr, speaker of the Russian parliament. He further added that the statements of Sikorski and others like him explain why Ukraine must be free of nuclear weapons and for the demilitarisation of the country.

Meanwhile, it has emerged that Ukraine has reportedly launched a missile attack on a base on the Russian border. This attack was said to have been carried out near the Klintsy district in the Bryansk province of Russia. Four people were injured, and several houses and buildings were damaged in the attack. Western media have claimed that Ukraine targeted the Russian base. But Ukraine has not confirmed it. Against this backdrop, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has claimed that the Ukrainian army will also liberate Crimea, including Donetsk and Luhansk, from Russian control. Zelensky’s remarks while addressing the nation on Monday night surfaced in a video. President Zelensky’s statement leads to attention as reports of Ukraine being pressurised for a peace agreement have emerged in the last few days.
