Jerusalem: Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has proposed to build 4,560 homes in West Bank for Israeli refugees. Israel will be starting the construction work of these houses by giving approval to it soon. However, the US has expressed serious concern over Israel’s plan.  

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced to start construction of settlement homes in the West Bank for Israeli Jews as soon as he came to power. Accordingly, a proposal for 4,560 houses has been prepared, out of which the construction work of 1,332 homes is likely to be approved. Israel’s Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich had made a special effort for this.   

However, the US had appealed to Israel to return the Palestinian territory and immediately stop the construction work started there. The US claimed that it would delay the Israel-Palestine talks. Nevertheless, the Israeli Prime Minister appears to have dismissed this notice from the US.
