Missile strike in Kramatorsk kills 2 Generals & 50 officials

Moscow/Kyiv: Missile strike by Russian defence forces in Kramatorsk city in Ukraine two days ago killed two Ukrainian Generals and 50 senior Ukrainian army officials, claimed the Russian Defense Ministry. The Russian Defence Ministry provided information about targeting the Ukrainian Command Centre after this attack. New information has started to emerge about this, Russia has said. According to the claim, a meeting of the Ukrainian army was held at this centre. Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has claimed that the foreign troops, Western military officials and defence advisors in Ukraine will be targeted like in Kramatorsk.

Missile Strike On Tuesday night, Russian defence forces launched a major missile attack on Kramatorsk city in Ukraine. Over 90 houses and buildings were said to have been damaged in the attack, including a popular restaurant in the town. According to the information provided by Ukraine, this attack by an S-300 missile has killed at least 12 people and injured over 60 people. Ukraine alleged that Russia targeted civilians sitting in the restaurant.

However, the Defense Ministry of Russia has released new information about this attack. A missile attack on the city of Kramatorsk targeted a temporary base of the Ukrainian military. Ukraine’s ’56th Infantry Brigade’ was using this base. The officers of this brigade were meeting with foreign military advisers at the time of the attack, the Russian Defense Ministry clarified. Russia’s defence ministry said that two Ukrainian army generals, 50 military officers, and 20 foreign advisers and soldiers were killed in the attack.

Moreover, the Foreign Minister of Russia has given a new warning on the background of the information released by the Defense Ministry. ‘Ukraine allows foreign soldiers and Western military officers to use civilian facilities for the anti-Russian struggle. It is a violation of international rules. Furthermore, if it is seen to be used in this way, the Russian army will target those places,’ Foreign Minister Lavrov warned. The Russian Foreign Minister claimed that the attack in Kramatorsk was also a part of this decision.

In that case, the Ukrainian army will take over 100 years to regain control of all the territories Russia has gained control of, slammed the US journalist.

Meanwhile, Ukraine has been citing the lack of advanced weapons as the reason for its failed campaign, and then the US indicated providing long-range missiles to Ukraine. The US may provide ‘Army Tactical Missile Systems’ to Ukraine in the next few months, claimed a US official. The range of this missile is between 165 to 300 km, sources reported.
