Russia’s goal is to eliminate the threat of Ukraine’s membership in NATO

Moscow: Ex-Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has warned Western countries and Ukraine sternly. ‘Ukraine joining NATO would be a massive threat to Russia. Hence, in one way or the other, Russia will not remain without eliminating this threat to its existence. According to the rules, a country involved in a war cannot join NATO. Thus, Russia will continue the battle with Ukraine to prevent it from being a part of NATO because it is a question of Russia’s existence, said Medvedev. Not only this, but the Western countries dreaming of defeating nuclear-armed Russia are pushing the human race towards nuclear annihilation; the former President of Russia has shockingly indicated.

Moreover, this warning by the former Russian President and deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, has been published in a Russian newspaper. On July 11 and 12, a NATO meeting will be held in the capital of Lithuania. As per the claims, Ukraine’s inclusion in NATO will be discussed in this meeting. However, according to NATO’s rules – a country involved in a war cannot be given NATO membership. Thus, some countries have drawn attention to these rules and strongly opposed Ukraine’s entry into NATO. Rather, some are claiming that NATO membership is a compulsion for Ukraine to defend the country against Russia.

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has responded in the wake of these events. By joining NATO, Ukraine, which was once a part of Russia’s territory, is allowing NATO the opportunity to reach Russia’s borders. Therefore, it poses a threat to Russia’s existence. For this reason, Russia can go to any level to eliminate this threat because it is a question of Russia’s existence, said Medvedev as he voiced this issue precisely. ‘Therefore, Russia is prepared to continue the conflict with Ukraine forever. Russia will not care much even if a destructive nuclear war breaks out,’ says Former President Medvedev, sending a strong message.

Meanwhile, Medvedev has indicated that Western countries, dreaming of defeating a nuclear country like Russia, are pushing the human race toward nuclear annihilation. At the same time, Dmitry Medvedev has indicated that Ukraine can’t maintain the position it is in presently as Russia’s opponent. Even before that, the former President of Russia had warned that the Ukraine conflict would become a nuclear war. A few days back, Russian President Vladimir Putin had said in almost the same words that a nuclear war would break out because of Ukraine. The President of Russia also made us realise that no one can win in this nuclear war.
