Trump threatens Iran of dire consequences, ‘the likes of which few throughout history have ever suffered before’

Washington – US President Donald Trump issued a stern warning to Iran by saying, ‘Iranian President Rouhani should never, ever threaten the United States again or you will suffer consequences the likes of which few throughout history have ever suffered before’. President Trump suggested that ‘We are no longer a country that will stand for your demented words of violence and death. Be cautious!’

A few hours ago, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani had issued a warning to the United States. Rouhani claimed that ‘America should know that war with Iran is the mother of all wars’. At the same time, demeaning the United States by comparing it to a rat, Rouhani said that the United States would only regret if it challenged Iran. Following Rouhani’s threats, the US President made Iran aware of the future consequences.

Within hours of President Trump’s threat to Iran, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also launched an attack on the Iranian leadership. Pompeo accused the Iranian Supreme Commander and the highest religious preacher Ayatollah Khamenei of being a hypocritical holy man. Pompeo accused Khamenei of being interested in filling his coffers by spreading the extremist ideologies in the Iranian people.

‘The whole world has become insensitive towards the atrocities suffered by the Iranian people at the hands of their government. However, the Iranian people suffering the atrocities, are not the sort who remain quiet,’ Pompeo thus criticised Khamenei. He also claimed that the Iranian people would call for an uprising against the Khamenei-Rouhani government. The US Secretary of State compared the Iranian government to the ‘Mafia’.

The Commander of the Bajis Force in Iran has dismissed the US President’s threat saying that this is a part of psychological warfare.

Meanwhile, President Trump also made use of the social media. The US President has used the social media to threaten Iran even in the past. Even so, he had capitalised only certain letters in the sentences contained in the messages. However, the message carrying the treat on Sunday was written entirely in capital letters. Therefore, the international analysts are claiming that the threat issued by President Trump is of a grave nature.
