US will respond to Iran’s attacks with 1000 times greater force

California: US President Donald Trump has sternly warned and said that ‘Reports state that Iran is planning sabotage or attack to avenge the action against terrorist leader Qassem Soleimani, who had plotted the execution of US soldiers. However, if that happened, the Iranian attack would receive retaliation with 1000 times greater force. Earlier, news reports revealed that Iran had plotted the murder of US Ambassador to South Africa Lana Marks, over which the US President had warned Iran.

A leading US news outlet had released the report citing officials from the intelligence agency. The report stated that Iran was waiting to seek revenge from the US for the past few months and was preparing to deliver a massive blow to the country. Therefore, Iran had plotted the murder of US Envoy Marks, who is a close aide of President Trump and a Jew. The daily therefore said that Iran was conspiring to commit the murder of Lana with the intentions of delivering a significant jolt to US President. Iran has nonetheless rejected all the claims.

US President sent the warning to Iran after taking cognisance of the report. In a drone operation carried out at the Baghdad International Airport in January, US executed Quds Force chief Qassem Soleimani and his officials. The killing of Soleimani, who was leading the Iranian forces in Iraq and Syria, was a massive shock for Iran. The regime had threatened to avenge the death of Soleimani. In the weeks that followed, Iran-affiliated terrorist groups launched pounding rocket attacks on US bases in Iraq.

Even hours before President Trump issued the warnings, pro-Iranian Kataib Hezbollah terrorists in Iraq hurled Katyusha rockets at US Embassy in Bagdad and military base. Nevertheless, the US C-RAM air defence system neutralised the Iranian-made Katyusha rockets. Moreover, Middle Eastern media believes that despite it, a conflict may spark if the strikes on US Envoy Marks or Embassy are successful.
