Foreign troops withdrawal would threaten the existence of Afghanistan

Kabul: In the last 24 hours, the Afghan army killed 258 Taliban terrorists in its nationwide action. Besides, Taliban destroyed a bridge in Pakistan. Moreover, the European troops are retreating from Afghanistan. Also, news has surfaced that by July 4, the planned US military withdrawal would be complete. The Afghan CEO Abdullah Abdullah has expressed concerns over the rising Taliban attacks and withdrawal of foreign troops. ‘The withdrawal of foreign troops has threatened Afghanistan’s existence, security, and harmony,’ Abdullah warned.

In the last few days, Taliban has conducted a severe military raid in Afghanistan. The news claim that Afghan troops have either surrendered to Taliban or fled. However, the Afghan armed forces say that they subsided the Taliban attack. On Thursday, the Afghan forces informed about carrying out action in 15 provinces against Taliban. 258 Taliban militants were slain in this action and 142 injured. Moreover, the Afghan media claimed that the Afghan forces compelled Taliban to retreat from Herat province.
