Tehran: – Ali Rabii, the spokesman of the Iranian government, accused, ‘Israel attacked the Karaj nuclear project last month to show the world that it can stop the Iranian nuclear program, and to deliver a message that the western countries need not hold discussions with Iran regarding the nuclear program.’ Rabii added that the attack did not cause any major losses to Iran. The Israeli media has carried reports countering the claim, saying that the attacks caused major losses to the Karaj nuclear project. Meanwhile, on Monday, there was a suspicious fire at one of the warehouses at the Karaj atomic project. The warehouse suffered massive damages. This explosion in Iran also is being viewed with suspicion, just like the previous explosions.
Last month, drone attacks were carried out on the Karaj nuclear project situated near the capital, Tehran. The Iranian media said that the sources informed that it was not an isolated drone but a swarm drone attack on the Karaj atomic project. Rabii accused that Israel carried out this attack to dismantle the talks between the western countries and Iran, held in Vienna. Rabii informed that damages were caused only to the roof of the project in the attacks. But the Israeli media and private investigation agencies have published satellite photographs claiming major damages to the project.
