China will not sit back if US House speaker visits Taiwan

After this, Pelosi will visit the US allies, South Korea and Japan. But will Pelosi go to Taiwan during her Asia tour? This has not been clarified. Pelosi’s office has not provided information on this.

But the US and Taiwan media claim that Pelosi’s tour to Taiwan is almost certain. On Tuesday night, Pelosi will arrive in Taiwan’s capital, Taipei, according to Taiwanese news channels. Besides, there are reports that the US has also increased its activities by sending its supercarrier USS Ronald Reagan aircraft and fighter jets to Taiwan’s maritime zone. Moreover, there are claims that the US’s USS Abraham Lincoln and the amphibious warship USS Essex, which has participated in the ongoing RIMPAC (the Rim of the Pacific exercises) war exercise near the Hawaiian islands of the Pacific Ocean, are also ready.

This news has not been confirmed. But this seems to have increased China’s restlessness. China’s Foreign Ministry on Monday warned the US of military action over Pelosi’s possible visit to Taiwan. Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian warned that China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) would not sit idly by while the third-ranking leader in US politics, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, visits Taiwan. Lijian warned that those who challenge China’s sovereignty would be given a stern reply.

Suppose US President Joe Biden adheres to the One-China Policy and the other three agreements with China and stops supporting those who demand Taiwan’s independence. In that case, it will be in the interests of the US, China’s Foreign Ministry threatened. China has threatened the Biden administration for the fourth time in the past week over Pelosi’s possible visit to Taiwan.

Last week, Chinese President Xi Jinping warned the US not to ‘play with fire’ in his telephonic discussion with US President Biden. While the Global Times, the mouthpiece of the Chinese Communist regime, had publicly warned of Pelosi’s military aircraft or helicopter rocket attack. A few hours later, the Chinese Army’s 80th Group Army released a message on Weibo, a Chinese social media site, saying ‘Preparing for war’. Global Times had claimed that millions of people gave likes to this post in the Chinese Army. Furthermore, Global Times warned that because of Pelosi’s tour, Taiwan’s reunification with China would be easier.

Additionally, on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China directly threatened the US with military action. Therein, the news of the deployment of US aircraft carriers has become noteworthy. Meanwhile, US intelligence had warned that China was looking for an opportunity to attack Taiwan.
