Moscow/Kyiv – Russia launched fierce attacks on the Ukrainian cities for the third consecutive day. Ukraine attacked the bridge connecting Crimea with Russia on Monday. Russian Defence Ministry said the base in Odesa, manufacturing and storing these naval drones, was the target of Russia’s attack. The Ministry of Defence also shared information about Russia’s attack on the fuel facility and ammunition stores of Nikolayev (Mykolaiv) city of Ukraine.

Moreover, Ukraine has confirmed that Russia has launched missile attacks on its cities of Odesa and Mykolaiv. However, Ukraine informed that it has succeeded in destroying five of the 19 missiles fired by Russia. Ukraine also claimed to have shot down 13 of the 19 Russian drones fired to carry out the attack. After this claim of Ukraine, the Russian Defence Ministry on Thursday provided information about the attacks on Odesa and Mykolaiv cities. Besides, Ukraine’s naval drone attacked the bridge connecting Crimea and Russia, due to which the bridge was heavily damaged. For this reason, the Russian Ministry of Defence has clarified that it has been striking this drone factory and bases in Odesa.

Furthermore, the Russian Defence Ministry informed about a major attack on a fuel facility and ammunition storage in Mykolaiv, Ukraine. Trukhanov, the mayor of Mykolaiv, has said that Russia has not attacked the city of Mykolaiv with such intensity since the start of the Ukraine conflict. Meanwhile, Ukraine reported Russia’s attack on Odesa killed two and injured 21. As the Russian attacks intensify further, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has again issued a stern warning to Ukraine.

Besides, Foreign Minister Lavrov has said that Russia will not stop until the objective of its military operation is achieved. At the same time, Russia has warned that Ukraine has been a strategic pawn against them for the last several years. He also said that by deploying troops to the Russian doorstep, the neo-Nazi forces had prepared to eliminate Russian culture, the Russian education system, the Russian media, and the Russians. The Russian Foreign Minister made a big allegation that there has been a conspiracy behind this to destroy Russia’s glorious heritage built over many centuries.

Also, Foreign Minister Lavrov explicitly put forth his country’s stance by stating they knew exactly what they were fighting for. He added that the United States and the West intended to eliminate Russia by using Ukraine , so Russia had to start the conflict in Ukraine. The Russian leaders had already clarified that Russia’s defeat in this conflict could not be an alternative. Furthermore, Russia will not hesitate to use the nuclear bomb in this conflict if needed is something the Russian leaders are constantly making everyone aware of.
