Russia responds fiercely to Ukraine's counteroffensive

Moscow/Kyiv – There have been claims for the last few days that Ukraine was successful in the anti-Russian counteroffensive. However, at the same time, it has surfaced that Russia has also responded fiercely to the attacks under the counteroffensive. Besides, Russia has claimed to have killed more than 600 Ukrainian soldiers during the conflict in the last 24 hours. Also, Russia has vowed to foil Ukraine’s drone attacks on Crimea and Moscow. Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has alleged that the United States was fighting against Russia through the Ukraine conflict.

Moreover, the Ukrainian leadership is providing information about the success of the counteroffensive, which started over three months ago. For this, Ukrainian military officials and leaders have claimed to have captured the villages of Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk and Kherson. However, they are refraining from speaking about the damage done to Ukraine in this campaign. In addition, some Western agencies, media and analysts have brought to light Ukraine’s duplicity by drawing attention to the heavy loss of life in Ukraine.

This also seems to confirm the information the Russian Ministry of Defence shared. Besides, Ukraine had lost over 4,000 soldiers in last week’s counteroffensive. Even after this, Ukraine is still experiencing setbacks, and as per the information shared by the Russian Ministry of Defence, it killed more than 600 Ukrainian soldiers in the last 24 hours. Most of these soldiers were killed at the Donetsk front, and Ukraine has lost more than 350 soldiers in the conflict in this province.

Furthermore, the conflict in Zaporizhzhia province has killed about 140 Ukrainian soldiers. In addition, Ukraine has lost 65 soldiers in the Krasny Liman action. The Russian Ministry of Defence has informed that the Russian attack in Kupiansk in Kharkiv province has killed 50 soldiers. Additionally, there are claims that Russia’s success in Kharkiv is a response to Ukraine’s counteroffensive.

Besides, information about Russia launching a major missile attack in Kharkiv has come to light. The missile, fired from Belgorod province of Russia, targeted a Ukrainian defence factory. Also, Ukraine has claimed that Russia used the S-300 missiles in the attack. Amid these attacks, Russia shared information about thwarting the drone attacks on Crimea and the capital, Moscow.

Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov alleged that the US was fighting against Russia through the Ukraine conflict. Also, the US provides other assistance, including weapons, intelligence, and information from satellites. In addition, Lavrov said that this shows that the US was fighting an anti-Russia conflict. The Russian Foreign Minister also claimed that the long-range missiles provided by the US would not change much in the conflict’s outcome.
