We will cut off the whole relationship with China

Washington: ‘I have been severely disappointed after the stand China adopted over the issue concerning the Coronavirus pandemic. The United States will cut off the whole relationship with China,’ threatened President Donald Trump. The US leaders and lawmakers have firmly supported the president’s forceful stand. A US senator has tabled an 18-point-plan to isolate and thereby corner China globally. The plan suggested the United States must help further strengthen India, Japan and Taiwan against China.

Direct allegations against China that state, the Novel Coronavirus is a Chinese biological weapon, which the regime used against the world, have begun gaining ground. The US President had already indicated towards the same. The US, as also other countries such as the UK, Japan and Australia, have added pressure on China on the matter and initiated a political confrontation. The US appears to have taken this strife to the boiling point by threatening to cut off all ties with China.

As the US President issued the warning, he scornfully said that the move would not cause any damages to the US but instead help save $500 billion. President Trump once again has reprimanded China over the Novel Coronavirus and blamed the regime for deliberately spreading the virus. President Trump’s forceful campaign against China has begun receiving tremendous backing from his cabinet ministers and lawmakers. In the last few days, at least five proposals against China were presented in the US Congress.

Thom Tillis, the Senator of the US State of Florida, went one step ahead of President Trump and put forward a plan to isolate China. Furthermore, Senator Tillis stated that managing the United States economy, health and national security, as well as holding China accountable for the Coronavirus pandemic, were the prime objectives of his plan. The 17-page document Tillis presented, details on how China had kept the United States and the world in the dark regarding the Covid-19 virus, right in the beginning. After that, a plan on ways to deliver blows to China’s influence and ambitions has been presented in five parts. These include safeguarding the US economy from China, imposing US sanctions on the regime, initiating a full investigation into their actions and exposing them.

At the same time, Tillis also suggested that the US was required to grow its military influence in Asia to stop China. This included the Pacific Deterrence Initiative, which urged the state to deepen its military-strategic ties with India, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam as well as bolster the military capabilities of the countries. Also, the plan has mentioned asking for approval of funding worth $20 billion to achieve it.

The US President’s threat and proposals against China from Senator Tillis as even other US lawmakers are clear indicators of the US preparations for taking the diplomatic tussle with China to another level. Apart from the US, European and Asian nations are currently, extremely enraged over the Coronavirus pandemic. The US is, therefore, receiving a good response from across the globe in its fight against China. Moreover, these circumstances will prove detrimental for China and may soon destroy its ambitions for world dominance.
