Israeli Air Force begins practice to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities

Tel Aviv – Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi, Chief of Israel Defense Forces (IDF), had directed the Israeli Air Force (IAF) to prepare for attacks on Iran’s Nuclear Facilities. He ordered the IAF to conduct a thorough practice. Israel’s leading news channel released the news. Just last week, Israel had set aside particularly $1.5 billion for attacks on Iran.

Earlier in its military exercise, IDF had practiced launching attacks on the nuclear project sites along with Iran’s military. However, Israel had interrupted the exercise for the past two years, but its reason was not disclosed. However, it was being said that Israel did not feel the need to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities due to the then-US President Donald Trump’s aggressive stance against Iran. However, two years after the current US President Biden began negotiating the nuclear deal with Iran, Israel has ordered its air force to practice an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

As per the information delivered by the Israeli news channel, last week, Defense Forces Chief Aviv Koshavi ordered the air force to conduct a thorough practice for attacking Iran’s nuclear projects. The Israeli military has not reacted. Just last week, Israel made a provision of particularly $1.5 billion for attacks on Iran.

युद्धाभ्यासSupporting the Iran-centered provisions, Israeli Defense Minister Gantz’s said that ‘Iran is coming closer to a nuclear capability and we are doing everything possible to prevent that’. Accordingly, Israeli Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman had warned that ‘confrontation with Iran is only a matter of time and not a lot of time’. ‘No diplomatic process or agreement will stop Iran’s nuclear programme’, Lieberman warned.

Kochavi had ordered IDF to prepare for a significant military attack earlier in January. Whereas, he also declared in August to augment military action against nuclear programme-accelerating Iran. The IDF Chief’s gesture drew a backlash from Iran.

Meanwhile, meetings between Israeli and US leaders over the past month have disclosed a lack of consensus between the two countries on Iran. While visiting the United States, Israeli leaders had suggested, the US should use ‘other options’ like ‘Plan B’ to prevent Iran from coming closer to acquiring a nuclear capability. ‘A bad deal will send the region spiralling into war’, Israeli Intelligence Minister Eli Cohen had set an alert. The US is still firm to negotiate a nuclear deal with Iran. Therefore, stating that Israel solely can prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear capability, Israel has begun thorough preparations against Iran.

Earlier, Iran set threats that an attack on their nuclear facilities is the declaration of war and such Israel would be reduced to ashes. However, Israeli leaders have warned that they will not cringe taking any decision necessary for national security, regardless of Iran’s threats.
