Washington – US State Secretary Antony Blinken has claimed that Russia could use chemical weapons as a backdrop to invade Ukraine. While warning at the UN Security Council, Blinken claimed that Russia could also use the option of a ‘false flag’ attack. US President Joe Biden has also warned that Russia could invade Ukraine in the coming days.
Moreover, the United States and European countries have consistently claimed that Russia will invade Ukraine. Western intelligence systems and the media had warned earlier that Russia would invade on February 16. However, on the contrary, reports were released that Russia had withdrawn some troops without invading on that day. Therefore, the claims of the Westerners have turned out to be bottomless. However, despite that, the remarks of Blinken and President Biden depict that other countries, including the United States, have continued to issue warnings against Russia.
State Secretary Blinken aimed Russia at the UN Security Council. ‘Over the past months, Russia has amassed more than 150,000 troops without provocation or justification. Russia says it’s drawing down those forces. We do not see that happening on the ground. Our information indicates clearly that these forces are preparing to launch an attack against Ukraine in the coming days. It could be a fabricated so-called ‘terrorist’ bombing inside Russia, the invented discovery of a mass grave, a staged drone strike against civilians, or a fake – even a real – attack using chemical weapons,’ warned Blinken.
Before US State Secretary Blinken, President Joe Biden has also said that the possibility of a Russian attack has increased. The US President claimed that a new war is likely to erupt in Europe, and Russia could launch an attack in the coming days. While these claims emerge, a rocket attack has been reported on a school in eastern Ukraine. Photographs of the school being damaged in the attack have been released. No concrete information about the attack has been given.
