Russia may start a three-pronged attack on Ukraine from Feb 24

Kyiv/Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin is planning to launch a new three-pronged attack on Ukraine by the end of February, senior Ukrainian official Oleksiy Danilov warned. On February 24, 2022, Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine. Just as it is completing one year, the Ukrainian regime repeatedly points out that Russia may launch a new attack. The Ukrainian Defence Minister claimed Russia is ready to deploy nearly five hundred thousand soldiers for the new invasion. Even as Ukraine makes the claim, it has come to the fore that Russia has launched massive missile attacks on the city of Kramatorsk in Donbas.

In the new year, Russia has again started making big attacks on Ukraine with missiles and drones. Russia has succeeded in stopping the advance of the Ukrainian Army in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia in southern Ukraine. The Ukrainian Army proved unsuccessful in the face of the increasing aggression of the Russian Army. It could not recapture any major city or part of Ukraine in the last few weeks. On the other hand, the Russian Army has reached the border of Bakhmut city in the Donbas region and is said to have captured two small towns in the last seven days. On Thursday, Russia fired a massive missile attack on Kramatorsk in Donbas. Ukraine has claimed that the Russian attacks are preparing to launch a new big attack.

At the month’s end, it will be one year since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Ukraine warned that Russia would again make a big strike on Ukraine on the occasion. Russia will attack Ukraine from Belarus, Crimea and Donbas at the same time, claimed Danilov, Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council. Russia intends to increase the intensity of the conflict by launching big attacks. Russia has mobilized military units, amassed large weapons, and begun drills. Anything can happen in the next two to three weeks,’ Danilov warned.

A big and fierce battle is yet to unfold between Russia and Ukraine in the next two to three months. However, it will happen in the next two to three months, a Ukrainian official claimed. Danilov said that Ukraine has also prepared its plans. Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov also confirmed this and claimed that Russia plans to deploy 500,000 soldiers.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Russia launched massive attacks in Kramatorsk and Kherson areas. Russia made a missile strike on Kramatorsk. According to the Russian Defence Ministry, Russia launched attacks on Kherson with the help of artillery and rockets. The Russian military is said to have laid a siege around Bakhmut in Donbas. Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov claimed that Russia will become more capable and powerful after the military campaign in Ukraine.
