Cyberwar breaks out between Israel and Iran; an Israeli hospital & Iran’s gas stations targeted

Tehran – A total of 70 percent of gas stations in Iran were shut down due to a cyber attack by a cyber group linked to the Israeli army. Due to this cyber attack, there was a sudden surge in gas prices in Iran. As a result, Iran was forced to close most of the country’s gas stations. On the other hand, Israel is alleging that hackers from Iran and Hezbollah hacked the Israeli hospital system, and this posed a threat to the lives of the patients.

An Israeli hacker group called ‘Predatory Sparrow’ released a video on Monday. Cyber conflict started between Israel and Iran - Seventy percent of Iran's gas stations closed due to cyber attacksThis hacker group has claimed to have targeted most of the gas stations in Iran. ‘This action was taken by terrorist groups linked to Iran to respond to Israel as well as the activities initiated in the Gulf region. The fire with which Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei is playing will burn his own life, and he will have to pay a heavy price for it. This was a glimpse of what we can do,’ warned these Israeli hackers. At the same time, this cyber attack was very controlled; these hackers have indicated that we have the capability to carry out more severe cyber attacks than this, and this capability will be used.

Iran has not rejected these claims of cyber attacks by Israeli hackers. However, a news channel affiliated with the Iranian government announced that 70 percent of the country’s gas stations were closed due to a software glitch. Cyber conflict started between Israel and Iran - Seventy percent of Iran's gas stations closed due to cyber attacksAt present, only 30 percent of the gas stations in the country are functioning and people should refrain from crowding at the gas stations, Iran’s Petroleum Ministry has issued such information. There are a total of 33 thousand gas stations in Iran, out of which 70 percent are closed. The Iranian people are claimed to be in trouble. Nevertheless, Israeli agencies made public different information related to this.

A group of Israeli hackers has claimed to have achieved great success in cyber attacks. At the same time, Iran and Hezbollah have claimed to have carried out cyber attacks on Israel. Some sensitive information has been stolen in a cyber attack on Ziv Hospital in Safed, Israel. Iranian hackers are suspected of possibly carrying out this theft. Therefore, Israel is alleging that there is a threat to the lives of their citizens. Previously, Iranian hackers had targeted Israeli infrastructure.

Meanwhile, Iran’s oil and gas industry had previously faced cyber attacks. Last year, the distribution system was disrupted by a cyber attack on an energy plant in Khuzestan province. In the last decade, the cyber attack caused by the ‘Stuxnet’ virus on Iran’s nuclear project sparked extensive discussions. Due to this attack, thousands of centrifuges in Iran’s nuclear project failed, and Iran’s nuclear program received a significant setback. Iran had held Israel and the US responsible for it.
