Berlin/Moscow – Russian President Vladimir Putin will invade NATO member states in 2025. Besides, Germany’s Ministry of Defence has warned that World War 3 would flare up from this conflict against NATO. The warning has come to light from a confidential report Germany’s Ministry of Defence prepared on potential threats and preparedness. Germany’s leading daily, BILD, published news about this. Russia has reacted to this warning from Germany and mocked it as an overwhelming prediction.
Moreover, German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius had said last year that German people should be prepared for war against Russia. After that, now Germany‘s Ministry of Defence hinted at World War 3 while predicting the Russia-NATO conflict. The German Ministry of Defence has also prepared a document that divides the Russia-NATO conflict into nine phases. There are claims that Russia might deploy 200,000 troops in early 2024 in the first phase.
It is said that, after that, Russia will take over large parts by June with a new invasion of Ukraine. In the third phase, Russia will unleash violence in the Baltic region of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Later, 50,000 Russian troops will be deployed in Belarus for extensive military exercises. In the fifth phase, Russia will deploy new missiles at a defence base in Kaliningrad. In December 2024, the conflict will begin in the Suwalki Gap area between Poland and Belarus. There will be a special NATO meeting in January 2025, and then in March, Russia will take steps for additional deployment in Belarus.
It has been indicated that in the last phase, 0.3M soldiers will be deployed in NATO member countries on the Russian border, and it has been warned that the Russia-NATO conflict will begin. Apart from this, a report by BILD has warned that the conflict between Russia and NATO could lead to the outbreak of the third world war. Russia’s Foreign Ministry dismissed the warning as a prophecy. Besides, Russian media has pointed out that President Putin clarified earlier that Russia is not interested in a conflict against NATO.
Almost more than two years have passed since the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and there are clear indications that Ukraine is in the shadow of defeat. Nevertheless, the US and NATO member countries have been providing a large amount of weapons and financial support to continue the conflict in Ukraine. Alternatively, Russia has also shown that it is ready for a long-term conflict. Therefore, European countries’ political and military leadership have been claiming that the conflict’s intensity is increasing and can turn into a widespread war.
Furthermore, in the past few months, statements about a war with Russia had come to light from the ministers and officials of Germany, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, along with the heads of NATO. Last week, Sweden’s Civil Defence Minister Carl-Oskar Bohlin, Defence Minister Paul Johnson, and Chief of Army Staff General Micael Byden warned that Sweden has to be ready for war against Russia.
