Tel Aviv: – There were three rocket attacks on Israel, from Lebanon, on Wednesday afternoon. There were no Israeli casualties in the attack. But the Israeli army responded by shelling southern Lebanon. The attacks from Lebanon are suspected to be linked to a terrorist organisation affiliated with Iran.
According to Israeli media reports, the rockets were launched from inside the Lebanese border. One of these rockets crashed in Lebanon itself. Whereas, two rockets landed in an open field at Kfar Giladi and Tel Hai in the Israeli city of Shemona. A siren was sounded in the town of Qiryat Shemona to alert locals regarding the rocket attacks. This has for some time been a cause for tension in the northern part of Israel.
