Jerusalem – Qatar clarified that Hamas is firm on its old terms for the release of 130 Israeli civilians abducted and taken hostage. It is claimed that the United States is also trying to put pressure on Israel to accept this Hamas demand. Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is arriving in Israel soon and intends to hold talks with Hamas. However, Israel will not spare thousands of terrorists to secure the release of the abducted Israeli civilians. At the same time, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that the military will also not be withdrawn from the Gaza Strip. Apart from this, Israeli Defense Minister Gallant has announced that Israel will take military control of the Gaza Strip after the destruction of Hamas.

Moreover, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have expanded the scope of military action in Khan Yunis and launched rocket attacks on Hamas locations. Besides, the Hamas-controlled health agencies have shared information that 215 people were killed in Monday’s attacks. The Hamas leaders have also warned that the ongoing Israeli attacks can pose a threat to the lives of the abducted Israeli civilians. Despite this, Hamas has proposed a ceasefire to Israel, considering that Israel is not ready to stop the military action in Khan Yunis.

In addition, this ceasefire is being discussed in the French capital, Paris, with the mediation of Qatar. According to this, Hamas has demanded the release of thousands of Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists from its captivity to secure the release of 130 abducted Israeli civilians held hostage by Hamas. At the same time, Hamas demanded that Israel withdraw its entire army from the Gaza Strip. Qatar has also supported this demand.

However, the Israeli Prime Minister clarified that he would not accept the absurd, irresponsible demands of the terrorists for the release of the abducted Israeli civilians. Furthermore, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, ‘The war against Hamas must not be stopped until Israel achieves three main objectives: eliminate Hamas, return our hostages and ensure that Gaza will no longer be a threat to Israel.’

Simultaneously, Netanyahu said that thousands of terrorists, who are a threat to Israel’s security, will not be freed to release the abducted Israeli civilians. Therefore, he added that unquestionably, the Israeli military will not withdraw from the Gaza Strip. Also, he announced that the headquarters of the United Nations voluntary organisation in the Gaza Strip, which is supporting Hamas in attacking Israel, would be closed. However, the Islamic Jihad chief has threatened that it will not release even a single abducted civilian without the withdrawal of the Israeli military and the end of the war in Gaza.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military foiled a plot to carry out another horrific attack like the October 7 by capturing a hospital in the West Bank city of Jenin. Also, the Israeli army had killed three terrorists who entered the hospital in Jenin for this attack.
