Russian President Putin alleges West of sparking a war in Ukraine

Moscow / Kyiv / Washington – Russia’s military action in Ukraine has been victorious, declared Russian President Vladimir Putin. Russia had kept an objective of preventing Ukraine from being used as a springboard against it under any circumstances, and it has succeeded, President Putin claimed. At the same time, President Putin accused the West of still provoking the conflict in Ukraine. Moreover, addressing the US Congress on a virtual basis, Ukrainian President Zelensky said that at this moment, Ukraine needs the United States and has put a list of demands before the US.

Despite maintaining the intensity of attacks on Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared the military campaign a success. Westerners have also been plotting to provoke civil unrest in Russia. But Westerners have still not recognised Russia. President Putin has confidence that Russia will emerge powerful because of all these conflicts.

Russia has no intent to occupy Ukraine. But in the future, nuclear weapons may reach Ukraine. In this scenario, Putin clarified that Russia had no choice but to take military action against Ukraine. Westerners do not want to see a powerful and sovereign Russia. That is why the Russian President blamed all these movements against Russia. Meanwhile, by announcing the successful completion of the campaign, it is not yet clear that President Putin has made preparations to withdraw from Ukraine. But the Ukrainian President once again adopted an aggressive stance while addressing on a virtual medium of the US Congress.

Furthermore, by saying that Ukraine will not be able to join NATO, President Zelensky adopted a different stance, taking steps to reach a compromise with Russia on Wednesday. By citing examples of 9/11 and attacks of Pearl Harbour on the US, Zelensky said that Ukraine has been facing similar attacks daily. He said that Ukraine needed help from the US at this moment. President Zelensky demanded that the United States provide military assistance to prevent the death toll in Ukraine. Simultaneously, he has once again demanded that the United States should impose a no-fly zone in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian President’s demand for a no-fly zone is unlikely to be accepted. Some in the United States have expressed fears that this could lead to the outbreak of World War III. But it is said that the US President will make important announcements regarding the supply of arms to Ukraine. There are indications that this will intensify the war in Ukraine.
