Moscow/Kyiv: – Russia has freshly proposed Ukraine to end the war while increasing the intensity of its attacks. The spokesman of the Russian Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov, shared this information. Peskov said that although Russia has given the proposal, the Ukrainian government is not serious about negotiations with Russia. Whereas, foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has accused another country controls the Ukrainian government. Therefore, this government keeps changing its demands.
Russia has dramatically increased its military activities in the Donbas region. At the same time, Russian attacks on the cities in east Ukraine have intensified. Russia has once again instructed the Ukrainian military unit in the city of Mariupol to surrender. The Russian officials have warned the Ukrainian military in the town that the time is running out. A video of the local Ukrainian official saying that there is no other option but to surrender has been published.
While the Ukrainian military in Mariupol has become helpless, Ukraine claims that Russia has suffered major losses in the war. In this scenario, the Kremlin spokesman shared the information regarding the Russian proposal, which was firmly presented to Ukraine. While speaking about this, Dmitry Peskov said that Russia does not have an iota of trust in the Ukraine government. Whereas, foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova cited the traditional saying, ‘Trust, but verify.’ But Zakharova clarified that Ukraine could not be trusted and it is not possible to deal with Ukraine without scrutiny.
Moreover, some other country appears to control the Ukrainian government. Thus, Zakharova claimed that this is why the Ukraine government has repeatedly changed its demands during the discussions. Therefore, there is no question of trusting the Ukraine government. Whereas, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov dismissed the accusations levelled by the westerners that Russia is targeting civilians in Ukraine. The Russian embassy in the United States has retorted that the US policy to corner Russia and impose sanctions has failed miserably. The Russian embassy suggested that the United States should change this policy. At the same time, the accusation that the United States is preparing to prolong the war using the Ukraine government is gaining ground.
More than 5 million citizens have fled Ukraine and taken shelter in other countries. Indicating that the intensity of the war will increase in the coming times, Russia has announced that the second phase of the war has started. Once again, Russia demonstrated that it is keen to end the war and propose peace to Ukraine. At the same time, Russia is presenting on the international level that Ukraine is not serious about ending the war.
