Gaza hospital attack impacts the Gulf, Europe & US – Palestinian supporters target Israeli embassy

Ankara/Beirut/Amman/Brussels – Anti-Israel protests have also erupted in Europe and the United States from the Gulf countries after a rocket attack on a hospital in Gaza killed nearly 500 people. In Jordan and Turkey, protesters have attacked and set fire to the Israeli embassies. Meanwhile, there have been reports of Palestinian supporters attacking the US Embassy in Lebanon and Turkey. Besides, the US has ordered its citizens in these two countries to return soon. At the same time, there are reports of security agencies in the UK and Italy taking action to nab IS terrorists. In addition, there will be a new outburst of anti-Israel protests in European countries in the future, and it is being warned that attacks may also be carried out by terrorists individually.

GazaMoreover, Palestinian supporters started worldwide demonstrations after Israel launched military action against Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip. Action had also been taken against these protesters in European countries. However, anti-Israel protests intensified after Tuesday’s rocket attack on a Gaza hospital. Anti-Israel and anti-US protests have turned violent in Arab countries like Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey. Apart from this, an angry mob set fire to the Israeli embassy area and tried to infiltrate it in Israel’s neighbour Jordan.

In addition, the main gate of the Israeli and US embassies was set on fire even in Turkey. During this, the protesters raised slogans about the destruction of Israel. Also, one of the groups of protesters had prepared to attack Turkey’s US Kürecik Radar Station. After this, Israel and the US informed their citizens present in Turkey to return immediately. As a precaution, Israel has asked its citizens based in Iran’s neighbouring UAE and Azerbaijan to return. Palestinian supporters also attacked the US Embassy in Lebanon, located north of Israel and the UN peacekeeping office. There are claims of damage to both buildings due to this.

Furthermore, anti-Israel protests have not been limited to Arab countries but are also occurring in the US and Europe. Additionally, reports of encounters between Israeli and Palestinian supporters in New York City, US, have come to light. In Italy, a terrorist had tried to infiltrate a Jewish synagogue with a sharp weapon. An IS terrorist preparing to attack Jewish targets in the United Kingdom was arrested in time. Earlier, there also have been reports in France and Germany of foiling attempts of lone wolf attacks or attacks carried out by individual terrorists. Also, an alert has been issued in European countries due to incidents in major countries of Europe in the last four days.

Meanwhile, the UAE (United Arab Emirates), part of the Abraham Accords with Israel, expressed strong concern over the Gaza incident. The UAE and Saudi Arabia have demanded that it be necessary to investigate the attacks on the hospital in Gaza and take strict action against the culprits. Russia and the UAE have also called for a UN Security Committee meeting against the backdrop of the conflict.
