Jerusalem – Israel has claimed to have recovered weapons from Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza. Besides, the Israeli security forces have also claimed that the laptop retrieved from this hospital contains information about the Israeli citizens held as hostages by Hamas. In addition, Israel has increased the scope of military action in North Gaza, and it has also come to the fore that some people in South Gaza have been informed to evacuate their homes. Meanwhile, the Israeli President has accused Iran of carrying out a terrorist attack on Israel through Hamas to stop the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC).

Moreover, some countries had condemned Israel’s action on Al-Shifa Hospital. However, Israel has raised the question of why these weapons were kept in the hospital by sharing information about the weapons recovered after taking possession of this hospital. Also, Israeli security forces have shared information from the laptop recovered about Israeli citizens held as hostages by Hamas. Therefore, Israel has clarified that it will continue action on this hospital in the future. Hence, Israeli tanks and armoured vehicles appear to have surrounded Al-Shifa Hospital and the nearby area.

Furthermore, Israel had informed the Palestinian people to move out of the northern part of Gaza and seek shelter in southern Gaza. However, now, the Israeli Army has asked local people to leave their homes in some parts of South Gaza. The Israeli military appears to have given such instructions as Hamas terrorists are hiding in the area. Apart from this, Hamas terrorists seem to be hiding in public and fled to southern Gaza after the Israeli Army captured most of the area of Gaza City, which had become the centre of Hamas. The Israeli Army seems to be preparing to attack these terrorists.

Nonetheless, the Israeli Air Force chief claimed that thousands of Hamas terrorists have been killed in Israeli air strikes since October 7. He stated that the Air Force had carried out fierce attacks to eliminate thousands of Hamas terrorists hiding in Gaza. The Air chief also claimed that the Israeli Air Force will continuously carry out attacks till these terrorists are eliminated. Israeli media has also informed of air strikes on the house of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in Gaza.

Meanwhile, Israeli President Isaac Herzog has levelled allegations against Iran of a conspiracy behind the horrific terrorist attack on Israel on October 7. Additionally, the Israeli President has alleged that satanic Iran launched attacks through Hamas to stop the construction of the highly ambitious trade transport IMEC project connecting India with Israel and Europe through Saudi Arabia and UAE. A day earlier, India’s Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had said that due to the Israel-Hamas war, IMEC seems to be facing a challenge.

At the same time, Iran and Turkey had strongly opposed the IMEC project. There were claims that China was also becoming restless due to this project. Moreover, China feared the project would challenge the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) project. Therefore, some former Indian Army officers made a suggestive statement that if the IMEC project is affected by the Israel-Hamas war, China will have to be included in the list of beneficiaries. Along with Iran, allegations of China’s hand in Hamas’ terrorist attack on Israel on October 7 have intensified. The allegation that China has helped Hamas to build a network of tunnels to defend itself against the Israeli attack is also gaining momentum.
