Machines may replace humans in 5 years due to AI technology

Washington: The technology of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become the biggest challenge in the present era and due to the progress in this technology, there is a danger of machines replacing humanity in the next five years, a serious warning was given by Henry Kissinger, senior US diplomat. In the future, Artificial Intelligence will become so powerful that humans may be seen serving machines in the manner shown in science films, Kissinger warned. The world’s first ‘AI Safety Summit’ is being organised in the United Kingdom next week. Against this background, Kissinger’s warning attracts much attention.

In a personal interview, Kissinger highlighted the danger of ‘AI’. Apart from stating that this is the biggest challenge today, he also claimed that it is impossible to avoid the emerging risks. The essence of ‘AI’ technology should be understood. Kissinger advised that this will make it possible to understand his point of view and counter it in the same way. Kissinger has written a book introducing ‘AI’ technology in which he mentions its consequences on society, politics and other areas.

In the last few years, there has been vigorous discussion on the issue of Artificial Intelligence technology. On the one hand, claims are being made that this technology would solve problems and difficulties in many areas. On the other hand, warning signals are being given about its dangers by drawing attention to the fact that no one would have control over the progress of this technology. The discussions related to this have become more intense on the background of ‘Generative AI’ like ‘Chat GPT’, which was introduced last year.

In March, the US-based practice group ‘Future of Life Institute’ had written an open letter to the international community regarding the dangers of the field of Artificial Intelligence. In this, a call was made to stop the big experiments and research work started in Artificial Intelligence for six months. After this, AI field expert Eliezer Yudkowsky also warned that the development of ‘Smart Artificial Intelligence’ could destroy the human race on Earth.

Geoffrey Hinton, the scientist who developed ‘Generative AI’, had drawn attention to the greater importance of the threat posed by Artificial Intelligence. At the same time, in the report of Stanford University, it was highlighted that the world could face a nuclear crisis due to’ AI’.
