Tel Aviv/Beirut – The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) have challenged the leadership of Hezbollah in Lebanon by taking action in the last 24 hours. Lebanese leaders accused Israeli fighter jets of flying into the airspace of the capital, Beirut, on Thursday. A few hours later, the Israeli military killed two Hezbollah terrorists in a drone attack in southern Lebanon. Information about the killing of a senior Hezbollah commander has come to light. Agitated by this, Hezbollah launched 30 rocket attacks on the northern part of Israel late Thursday. Through this, Hezbollah and Iran have claimed to destroy major bases of the Israeli Army. However, the Israeli military informed that the Hezbollah attack injured three soldiers.
Moreover, the Israeli military launched a drone attack on the road in the city of Nabatieh on the southern side of Lebanon. It targeted a vehicle in which two terrorists were travelling. The attack killed a senior Hezbollah commander and his bodyguard. The Israeli and Lebanese media released photos and videos of the damage caused by these attacks. Local people say that the attack was quite gruesome.
Besides, Israeli Air Force Chief General Tomer Bar announced Israel’s readiness for the war against Hezbollah. Also, hundreds of Israeli aircraft are prepared to attack Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. General Bar warned that the Israeli jets would attack the Hezbollah locations in Lebanon as soon as the government orders were received. The Israeli Air Force Chief also warned that Hezbollah will have to pay a heavy price for attacking Israel.
After this, the Hezbollah terrorists launched 30 rocket attacks on the northern part of Israel. In addition, the Israeli military claimed that three Israeli soldiers were injured, and the condition of one of them has been critical. Apart from this, the rocket did not cause much damage as it hit the uninhabited area. However, Hezbollah and the Iranian news channels claim that the Israeli military bases were being destroyed in the Hezbollah attack.
Meanwhile, Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant had announced that Israel will launch military operations in Lebanon after the completion of the military action against Hamas in the Gaza Strip. After this, a special crew of the Israeli army had been deployed close to the Lebanese border. Now, the Israeli Air Force chief has warned that hundreds of aircraft are ready to attack Hezbollah. Therefore, Israel is likely to launch major military action against Hezbollah after ending the Gaza military action.
